Soon after executing a prestigious export order of a twin spindle deep hole BTA drilling machine, Precihole has finalised an order for a CNC single spindle trepanning machine from an oilfield equipment manufacturing company in Austria.

The role of the machine is to machine the core out, from the end-piece and transfer it onto the Inspection Line.

As per the sound norms, the working decibel level of te machine should be less than 80dB.

Using a special coating on the machine floor, the machine is to be made 100% leakproof.

It is extremelly difficult considering the operating pressure of 90 bar and operating coolant flow of 250 litre/min.

Due to the versatility of components, CNC is to toggle between programs to suit the material location in 2 axis and vary the cutting parameters.

It sounds like a cakewalk, said the company, but it will be interesting to see the actual performance of this machine.
